신축 고전압 연구소 이 건물은 최대 850kV의 유전체(誘電體) 변압기를 시험할 수 있는 고전압 연구소이며, 그 요건을 충족하려면 안쪽 치수로 잴 때 길이 57m에 폭 30m, 높이 27m의 속이 비치는 용기가 되어야 하며, 그 주위를 내부 실험 시 초정밀 측정에 필요한 패러데이 상자(Faraday cage)로 완전히 둘러싸야 한다. 주요 홀은 세 개의 주요 공간으로 나뉘는데, 각각 충격파 시험과 공진 시험, 육불화황 (SF6) 설비 시험을 수행하기에 적합한 공간들이다. 주요 공간의 부속 건물은 시험실을 볼 수 있는 기술동인데, 여기에는 두 곳의 제어실 겸 접수실, 그리고 최대 60명까지 모여 발표하고 회의할 수 있는 공간이 있다. 이 신축 연구소는 동종 부문의 최첨단 기술 연구소로서 아르테체(ARTECHE)사의 표상이 되고자 한다. 그 표상의 가능성은 주변부를 따라 굽이치다 끊기기도 하는 입면이 아니라 유광 스테인리스스틸에 반영된 혁신에 있다. 하나의 입체적 통합을 가능케 하는 이러한 혁신은 30m 높이에 달하는 이 건물보다 상당히 낮은 건물이 많은 주변 환경 속에서 중요성을 갖는다. 글: ACXT / IDOM This building is a High Voltage Laboratory, for testing dielectric transformers up to 850kV, which requires to be a diaphanous vessel of 57m long, 30m wide and 27m high (inner dimensions), surrounded completely by a Faraday cage needed for the extremely precision measurements performed inside. The main hall can be divided into three main spaces, suitable for carrying out the Impulse and Resonant Tests, and SF6 equipment tests. Annex to the main space, there is a technical block with views into the testing room, which features two control rooms / reception, a meeting room and space for presentations and meetings for up to 60 people. The new Laboratory is intended as both a laboratory of the most advanced technology in the sector, a representation of the ARTECHE bet on innovation, reflected in a polish stainless steel instead of facade that vibrates and breaks along its perimeter, allowing integration in a volume so important in the environment that is characterized by buildings significantly lower than this building, which reaches 30m.
